Anti-Brumm® Tick Test
When a tick bite suddenly occurs, ticks can now be tested for Borrelia rapidly and accurately. With the ANTI-BRUMM® Tick Test, the tick is sent directly to the certified laboratory, where DNA analysis is used to test for Borrelia. Information on whether or not the tick is a carrier of Borrelia bacteria can be accessed by Internet or telephone within two work days using a personal login. This information assists the early-stage risk assessment of potential transmission of Borrelia to humans.
