Lidazon® actilong
is a sugar-free lozenge that contains a combination of the active ingredients cetylpyridinium chloride and lidocaine. Cetylpyridinium chloride is responsible for the lozenge's antibacterial effect, and lidocaine relieves pain. Lidazon actilong is used for infections or inflammations of the mouth and throat area such as sore throat, hoarseness and aphthae and as a supportive treatment for angina. The specific composition of Lidazon actilong prolongs the effect on the mucous membrane. Lidazon actilong lozenges have a pleasant peppermint flavour.
