Demonatur® cold
capsules are herbal medicines which contain, in separate form, essential oils (brown capsules) and Echinacea extract (green capsules).
Expectorant properties and stimulation of airway secretions are traditionally attributed to the essential oils obtained from thyme, oregano and savory (Satureja montana). These essential oils are partly excreted by the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, where their antimicrobial properties come into play.
Simultaneously, properties reinforcing the natural defences of the body are traditionally attributed to Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) root extracts.
Demonatur cold capsules are used for flu-like conditions accompanied by cough or bronchial catarrh, especially when persistent or recurrent.
